Grundfos Strengthens Relationships at AHR Expo

More than 1,900 exhibitors and 60,000 attendees from 131 countries converged upon Chicago from Jan. 23 to 25 for the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers’ (ASHRAE) International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating (AHR) Exposition.

The AHR Expo was the ideal location to make and solidify customer relationships, and raise awareness of Grundfos and its innovative pump products.

Bold Booth

Branded with the Grundfos logo and “Be>Think>Innovate” tagline, the Grundfos booth occupied a prime location in the exhibition hall. Outfitted with a countdown clock to the unveiling of the new 2013 product line, the booth drew attention and raised curiosity among attendees, which led to conversations with Grundfos sales professionals.

Throughout the three-day event, Grundfos held meetings with top clients and educated prospects on the company’s latest offerings.

Customer Appreciation

A customer appreciation event at the House of Blues gave friends and partners the opportunity to mingle in a relaxed environment. With great music, food and conversation the event was a way for the company to say “thank you” to valued customers.

Expo activities also provided employees a chance to meet and catch up with representatives from the U.S., Canada and Denmark.

Grundfos Story

In addition to strengthening relationships, AHR served as a hub from which to tell the Grundfos story. Media interviews with several high-profile trade publications were scheduled to spread the word about the mission and values of Grundfos as well as upcoming products, including COMFORT Auto. The resulting articles will share the Grundfos story with an audience outside of the Expo, helping increase awareness and sales.

The combination of networking, sales conversation and media attention made the AHR Expo a successful showing for Grundfos.
