Grundfos Canada is very excited to be a part of the Beautiful Heat initiative!
This project was developed with the support of 11 partners in the hydronic industry to help educate consumers on the benefits of hydronic heating. These companies include: Grundfos, LAARS Heating Systems, Raypak, Taco, tekmar Control Systems, Armstrong, Bell & Gossett, Uponor, Viessmann, Watts Water Technologies and Weil-McLain Canada
Hydronic heating has been used for centuries and has evolved into a sophisticated system of baseboard radiators, wall-mounted panels and under floor tubing. Europeans utilize hydronics to heat 90% of their homes, however just 5% of Canadians do the same. These statistics highlight an opportunity for hydronic manufacturers to grow the Canadian market and increase profit.
The Beautiful Heat initiative will kick-off in September of 2011 and will use a comprehensive marketing campaign to help educate consumers on the environmental and health benefits that hydronic heating provides. The program will also be used to develop strategic partnerships with residential construction companies by referring interested consumers to knowledgeable contractors.
