Choosing a Grundfos pump in your wash-down system guarantees outstanding performance whether the application is mobile or stationary.

In stationary solutions, multistage centrifugal pumps ensure that the pressure is high at all times, while the mobile wash-down systems offer spot-cleaning which is as high-performing as it is energy-efficient. Fitted with a frequency converter from Grundfos' E-solutions the compact pump easily operates at various pressures, for low/ high pressure washing and spot-cleaning.

Stock management can be difficult due to the global differences in voltages and frequencies.	Grundfos' E-solutions feature dual frequency and a wide voltage range, allowing you to use the same solution all over the world. Naturally, the E-solutions carry the necessary approvals.
Very high pressure significantly reduces the life of the shaft seal.	Grundfos offers high pressure pumps where the shaft seal is placed at the low pressure side. By eliminating the high pressure on the seal the life of the seal is efficiently prolonged.
Generating very high pressure often requires very tall pumps or two or more series connected pumps.	Choosing Grundfos' high-speed pumps the required pressure can be reached by just one pump.
The frequent switching on and off in wash-down systems creates pressure spikes that wear on the pumps.	Grundfos' E-solutions are able to ramp up and down fast to avoid water hammering.
