The Fountains at WaterWalk are powered by 35 Grundfos pumps.
The Fountains at WaterWalk, an attraction in downtown Wichita, Kan., features music, lights and moving water in a synchronized display. Powered by 35 Grundfos pumps, the fountains are designed to support aesthetics and encourage economic development near Wichita’s riverfront.
The Fountains at WaterWalk are 110 feet long with more than 1,200 custom designed and patented nozzles and are skillfully choreographed by hand and stored for digital playback. The fountains operate on 27,000 horsepower in Grundfos pumps capable of pumping more than 22,000 gallons of water per minute. That’s enough to empty an average sized swimming pool in less than 45 seconds.
