Overview

Eagle Point was a large private residence construction project. One of the outstanding elements was the creation of the Waterfalls. Colin Campbell (Grundfos Dealer and Contractor) developed the project that wove through this fantastic landscape.

The waterfall uses two CR 90 pumps, self cleaning valves and individuals 6’’ intakes. The system is split to provide upper and lower waterfalls. Both waterfalls have spillways, which return to the river source. The CR 90’s are connected to variable speed drives to enable variation in water flow, reduce energy consumption, provide motor protection and enable remote control operation.          

As Colin wrote: “The large residence associated with this waterfall landscape feature presented many pumping obstacles to overcome, with the aid of the Grundfos Technology we were able to offer top quality choices to our clients.”

For the residence applications they recreated a whole system for heating, irrigation and domestic water consumption based on the following:
· Two CR 4-40U pumps, 1.5 HP, domestic water pumps.
· One CR-16-30U, for cooling
· Two 30 SQE pumps, used for water irrigation and animal consumption (the pumps were installed in the same well, controlled by two CU300 to provide staging).
· Two 10 SQE 05B-200 for temporary site water
· One 2HP, 25 gpm, 25S20-11 pump for supply to the small waterfall
· Multiple SE40 and SE50 sewage pumps
· Multiple EF150, 1.5 HP. Effluent pumps
· Multiple KP 250 stainless steel sump pumps
· One JDF 2A JET PUMP, Glycol make-up-pump for the heating system and outdoor snow-melt.
· 35 UP series circulation pumps connected with the heating systems (indoor and outdoor).
